Olin College
“Getting people to change their behavior is hard,” observed Stephen Durfee, Certified Energy Manager for Olin College. “Installing energy efficient lighting is far easier.” Olin recently retrofitted its campus-wide network of street and parking lot lights with Noribachi LED bulbs, reducing the project’s lighting energy consumption by 81% and qualifying for a generous 40% energy conser-vation rebate from its utility pro-vider, NSTAR.
